Why the weight of the silver used in not written in product description?

I saw many products and was thing to purchase it, but I didn't find any mention of the grams of silver used, due to which I didn't purchase the item. I think if anyone is spending so much amount on these products on the name of silver should also have the right to know the weight of the item and silver used.
